Ribodiet®
For the first time an amino acid formulation includes an element that supports the whole body and above all the gastrointestinal system: Ribodiet®, a natural ingredient obtained from yeast cells of the Kluyveromyces fragilis or Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains through a controlled extraction process that does not alter the raw material. MyHMB
Scientifically known as β-hydroxy β-methylbutyrate, HMB is produced naturally by the body during the metabolism of the essential amino acid leucine. Leucine is found in practically all proteins: we eat it every day in foods such as meat, fish, soy, eggs and milk. The underlying problem is the difficulty of reaching efficient and effective amounts of HMB through diet alone. While it is true that HMB is produced naturally in our bodies during the metabolism of the essential amino acid leucine, only 5% of dietary leucine is converted into HMB. That would mean that, in theory, a person would have to consume 60 grams of leucine, or around 600 grams of high-quality protein, to obtain the effective amount of HMB. Consuming that quantity of protein or leucine directly is a difficult if not impossible undertaking that, over the long term or for particular individuals, can cause no small number of problems.
